In response to the environmental petitions handled by the Central Environmental Protection Inspectorate, Huainan City does not evade, does not care for short, does not shirk, and insists on the establishment of a reform, quick check, and the process of inspecting and rectifying the process of resolving environmental issues.

Huai'nan Environmental Protection Department conducted several on-site inspections of Fengtai, Tianji, Pingyi and Luohe Power Plants. All coal-fired power plants in Huainan City are equipped with desulfurization, denitrification and dust removal facilities, and are equipped with an automatic online monitoring system for flue gas. Each power plant is carrying out a technical project for ultra-low emission of flue gas. In terms of coal-fired exhaust emissions, after reviewing the historical data of the automatic monitoring system, no illegal activities such as abnormal operation of pollution prevention facilities and illegal excessive discharge of pollutants were found. There are 4 coal-fired generating units in Tianji Power Plant. Units 2, 3 and 4 have completed ultra-low emission technical reform, and Unit 1 is undergoing ultra-low emission technical reform. 6 coal-fired generating units of Luohe Power Plant, except for Unit 1 at present, the other 5 units have completed ultra-low emission transformation. The existing four coal-fired generating units of Fengtai Power Plant have all completed the ultra-low emission technical reform. There are 6 coal-fired generating units in Pingyi Power Plant, and units 1, 5 and 6 have completed ultra-low emission technical reform.

During the verification, it was found that the open-pit yard of the ash yard of Fengtai Power Plant was not covered, and there was a hidden danger of dust pollution. The fly ash, coal slag and desulfurization gypsum of Fengtai Power Plant were not covered by the cover during the transportation of the vehicle, and the dust was generated by the rolling of the wheel. The slag yard of Pingyi Power Plant is covered with dust-proof net, which has not been fully covered. There is dust pollution on the transportation roads of nearby transportation vehicles. Luohe Power Plant leases the triangular bay small triangle ash yard in Datong Shangyao Town to store a small amount of slag. Although the ash yard has implemented air pollution prevention measures such as covering soil and leveling, the exposed soil still has hidden dangers of dust pollution in windy weather.

On May 5th, the Huainan Municipal Government conducted a warning interview with the person in charge of the above-mentioned power plant and the local government, requesting that the rectification be completed according to the schedule.

At present, Fengtai Power Plant has cleared all the ash and slag stored in the temporary ash yard, and completely covered the ground of the yard, covered the dust suppression net, and completed the rectification; the entire ash yard is covered with dust-proof nets; The ash field sprinkler facilities were completed and put into use. Pingyi Power Plant has strengthened the management of fly ash loading and control, controlled the dust pollution during the ash filling process, and improved the ash tanker flushing equipment through monitoring and real-time supervision. The ash yard of the upper kiln triangle bay of Luohe Power Plant has been compacted and covered with dust suppression nets to complete the rectification.
